LIVE MUSIC IS BACK!! We are absolutely over the moon to reveal Connor Selby will be bringing the band back to The Bourne Music Club for the first in our relaunched indoor gigs fully under Cover-19 guidelines. This will operate in the large hall of The Appleyard with a restricted capacity of only 80 people. Tickets are only £12 so purchase while you can. Please book within your social bubbles of up to 5 people where possible to allow us to reach capacity. In order to make our upcoming events able to happen in the current world of Covid-19 there are a number of extra ways of operating we have to put in place. The guidelines will be seen in place on the evening but here are a few to take note of. Admission is by tickets purchased online only. This also enables us a track and trace system and allows us to plan seating arrangements whilst cutting out potential risks of handling cash. Seating will be arranged as per Covid-19 guidelines. Face masks will be required unless seated with drink or food in your social bubble Please enter via the back of the venue through the lower lounge and leave via the front door NO talking is permitted in the hall when the act is performing on stage. The guidelines we are to follow are for everyone’s safety and enable us to welcome live music back to the stage. We are overwhelmed with the support being shown and look forward to enjoying the events with you.

Description

Connor Selby is a rising star and is proving to be one of the UK’s most promising blues acts. Recently voted the “Young Guitarist of the Year” in the 2020 UK Blues Awards, Connor's fluid, emotional guitar playing and soulful, authentic songwriting is attracting the attention of many Rock and Blues luminaries including The Who, who booked him to open their summer extravaganza at Wembley Stadium on the 6th July 2019, alongside acts including Imelda May, The Kaiser Chiefs and Eddie Vedder. Following that, The Who booked Connor as the main support act on their Arena Tour of the UK in 2021. The young British bandleader-guitarist-vocalist builds on influences as diverse as Eric Clapton, Ray Charles, and Nick Drake, creating a soulful blend of hard-hitting blues and emotional, introspective song writing. With his evocative vocal style and distinctive guitar playing that evokes the British blues boom of the 1960’s, Connor is taking the UK blues scene by storm. Connor is currently signed to 3ms Music and released his critically acclaimed debut album Made Up My Mind in September of 2018.
